Golf Club Length Calculator

Determine the correct golf club length based on your height and wrist-to-floor measurement.

How to Use This Calculator

1

Measure Your Height

Stand barefoot or in socks against a wall and measure your height accurately in inches or centimeters. While height alone isn't sufficient for perfect fitting, it's an important starting point for club length recommendations.

2

Measure Wrist-to-Floor Distance

This is the key measurement. Stand naturally erect in your golf shoes with arms hanging relaxed at your sides. Have someone measure from the crease in your wrist (where your hand meets your arm) straight down to the floor. Keep your shoulders relaxed and arms naturally extended - don't reach down or stretch up.

3

Calculate Recommended Length

Enter your height and wrist-to-floor measurement into the calculator. It will provide recommended club length adjustments relative to standard lengths. Results typically show how much to add or subtract from standard length clubs (e.g., +1 inch or -0.5 inch).

4

Get Fitted and Test

Use the calculated recommendation as a starting point, but ideally get professionally fitted if possible. Hit balls with clubs of different lengths to confirm what feels best and produces the most consistent contact. The calculator provides a data-driven starting point, but feel and performance are the final tests.
